Learning to scuba dive in and around the East Gippsland area has many advantages. Diving in eastern Victoria offers a large number of sites that can’t be equalled for variety anywhere in Australia.

You will encounter different types of diving experiences including:

• shore diving
• exploring the marine life around pier pylons
• drifting over the sea floor
• hovering above brilliantly coloured sponges and sea life
• boat diving – viewing the fish and plants of the Cape Conran dive sites
• exploring sunken wrecks
• or even catching your own seafood dinner.

Other dives include numerous reefs, kelp forests, underwater drop-offs, wrecks, seafood (mussels, abalone and crays), seals and dolphins.
